Guerra History

In the early 1980's, The Guerra Family purchased "Pepper Tree Ranch", a 600 acre, working cattle ranch with amazing vistas, and sprawling hills. With deep agricultural roots, the family embarked on a plan to fulfill Anthony Guerra’s dream to enter the wine/vineyard industry in 2006. They then partnered with neighboring Leal Vineyards to plant twenty acres of vineyard bordered by several acres of olive groves.

2021 Viognier

Our Viognier is fermented in stainless steal to maintain consistency, then transferred to French Oak barrels for 8 months to provide texture and a smooth finish. White peach, vanilla, and honeydew melon flavors make it slightly sweet.

2014 Three Sisters

Our Rhone Blend, 63% Petite Sirah, 28% Grenache, and 9% Syrah. Named for the Three Sisters Peaks visible for our tasting room. A bit less bold than our other reds. A great mix of berry flavors compliment many bar-b-que meals.

2021 Petite Sirah

The quality of vintage is apparent in this wine's density. The inky blackness attempts to hide the silky softness but aromas of blackberry pie lead to a fruity finish.

2015 Malbec

Estate grown, our Malbec vines like the Hollister area. A starburst full of purple and raspberry colors. Hints of caramel, chocolate, and tobacco all finish with an understated oak.

2016 Cabernet Sauvingnon

Our inaugural vintage, estate grown. 100% cabernet grapes. It offers full rich flavors of berry and black cherry. A relatively small crop allowed the young vines to mature the clusters. Its smooth now but maybe put some away so you can savor this first of a kind at a future celebration.

Tasting Barn

Our Tasting Room is very unique compared to others, as it is in a barn. We are open every weekend starting in the Spring till the late Fall months. It is also used as the headliners dressing room during our Summer Concert Series.
